Savona, Italy!!

Savona, Italy was our third stop. I really liked this town. It was very small - not a lot of traffic at all - and the people seemed really laid-back. Here are some of the highlights:

I liked the colorful buildings stacked up the hill.

The Priamar Fortress:
This fortress was built in 1542. We were able to walk through it.

It was really pretty with the grass, moss and vines growing all over the ruins.

There were lots of crumbling stairways, ramps and tunnels throughout.

A beautiful peek at the Mediterranean Sea:

The views from the top of the fortress were beautiful.

The beach was very pretty as well:

We also just wandered the streets aimlessly, enjoying the sites:

I think the coastline is really pretty with all the houses and buildings on the sides of the hills.
